BUCKAROO: A term created by American cowboys from the Spanish word "Vaquero".
Vaqueros predate the Buckaroos. BOTH predate the American Cowboy, and have their roots deep within the cultural heritage of the west. Their skill and grit was known the world over, and their legacy continues even today!
While the Vaqueros were wide ranging in the American Southwest, the Buckaroos hailed from the Great Basin country of northern Nevada, southern Idaho, northeast California and southeastern Oregon.
LEAN AND RUGGED. LIKE THE BUCKAROOS OF THE OLD WEST.
Simple, rustic design. Utilitarian construction. Few frills. Built for generational use. Handmade with loving care by rough, weathered hands utilizing methodology that has a history literally thousands of years old.
